Congrats on making it to Guangzhou. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by how many Chinese people understand and speak english to some degree.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the shopping too - but a tip - never pay what they are asking. The common practice is to haggle. And when you see an item in a store - wait... you will find it in 14 more down the street and most with different prices. It pays to pay attention.
