Arrived in Chongqing

We are in Chongqing! It was dark when we arrived, but the city looks really cool! Kind of a cross between Las Vegas lights and Manhattan skyline.

Much to my pleasant surprise, the Howard Johnson hotel here is absolutely gorgeous. Seriously. One of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed. We are especially grateful for the soft, western style bed. (Most beds in china are the equivalent of our box spring with a thin layer of foam. Our Beijing nights were, literally, a little hard. )

We get our girl tomorrow at 3 pm!! Good night for now!

    Wow, you mean to tell me you guys got a decently soft bed to sleep in?!? That's one of the things I will never forget about China was the incredibly HARD beds.

    So excited to see your sweet baby girl tomorrow!
